Campaigns go to This month: Take action to stop the killer in the kitchen Indoor air pollution, caused by burning solid fuels such as wood and charcoal for cooking, claims more victims each year than malaria. It is the fourth greatest risk to death and disease in developing countries according to the WHO, and yet the international community is doing little to tackle the problem.
