GOOD PRACTICE

THET has commissioned the development of a Monitoring & Evaluation Toolkit for
Health Links. The toolkit will be very user friendly and will be developed by Mya
Gordon and Caroline Potts who between them share proven skillson developing monitoring
and evaluation toolkits, evaluating Health Links and research on health issues. The
aim of the toolkit is to share through the Health Links network tools with which
to measure the impact of your work and to prove it to potential supporters and
the skeptics out there. The toolkit will be launched on June 2008 so watch this
space!

Making an impact?is the first coherent study to be undertaken to explore the impact
that Health Links have made on staff and health systems in developing countries
and in the UK. The study revealed that a number of positive changes have taken place
amongst staff and health systems in both the UK and developing countries, but that
more can be done to enhance this. Read the full report onhttp://www.thet.org.uk/index.php?/page/index/guidance.html
